The Undress, Kickstarter’s #1 Women’s Fashion Project, Completes Shipment of 10,000+ Undresses

SAN DIEGO - Sept. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- The Undress, the world’s first fashionable, mobile changing room is excited to announce that production of The Undress, proudly made in the USA, has been completed. More than 10,000 Undresses have been shipped to more than 7,200 backers from their September-October 2014 Kickstarter project.

As The Undress raised $615,663 on Kickstarter, making it the number one most-funded women’s fashion project on the crowdfunding site, the project has since grown into a company, having its fair share of accomplishments and setbacks that any startup can experience. When co-founders Dennis Caco and April Estrada began production in November 2014, a variety of roadblocks delayed the original shipping estimate of January 2015 for some of the dresses. The Undress team, committed to delivering the best quality product, ended up using seven different factories in LA while updating eager, adventurous Kickstarter backers.

“It’s been an unbelievable process of bringing The Undress to life and to so many people” said Caco. “We’ve had a lot of sleepless nights, but when our backers tell us how amazing The Undress is and where they’re taking it on their adventures to change, it makes it all worth it. We have more ideas coming and now have Undresses on hand for shipping.”

The Undress is  an innovative solution to a common problem- changing in public under a towel, in the car, or a dirty public restroom. The changing process begins by using the hook and handle to guide the top of The Undress underneath a top and bra. The draw-string loop is then pulled over the head and secured with an adjustable cord lock. Any type of bottom can be removed using the side-access openings. Now that the dress is completely covering the woman, she is now able to remove her clothes without revealing herself. Watch the video of how The Undress works.
