SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- FROM THE RECENT ALCATRAZ SWIM TO HITTING THE AIRWAVES ON KOFY TV 20 REAL ESTATE BROKER KENNY SESSION READIES AUDIENCE FOR A MAJOR REBOUND

Achieving one of the rare accomplishments in life like swimming from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco is one demonstrative way to show you’ve got a new lease on life.  That’s exactly what Kenny Session, Real Estate Broker and Executive Producer of the “In Session Real Estate TV Show” did September 6, 2015.

Taking on the swim from Alcatraz is a metaphor for what Session; a Navy veteran who served on the U.S. S. Enterprise and grew up in South Central Los Angeles, wants to do with his show.  The old Federal Prison on Alcatraz was on the island for a reason because the 1.5 miles between the island and shore made escape virtually impossible.  “I want people to know they can take on the issue of home and commercial property ownership and be victorious,” said Session.  “Sure the currents of the economy can be challenging just as they are between Alcatraz and San Francisco, but with the right training and guidance you can make it safely to shore.”

“I’m looking to help people purchase a home, not just a house.  A home means there is community built around their property and that is why “The In Session Real Estate TV Show” aired on KOFY TV 20 San Francisco is about more than real estate transactions.  It is about community issues and wellbeing, added Session. Since 1995, Session has built his company on serving the under-served by providing real estate sales and loans, first time home buyer programs, moderate to low income buyer information, and real estate agent training.

“There is such a hunger for good news and hope as people’s dreams of owning a home have been battered since 2008,” said Kenneth Session.  “It’s important for people to know all the facts and not make emotional decisions based on bad news pundits.  It’s tough, but it’s not impossible to own a home and our TV show will point out the hard realities along with solutions,” added Session.  “In Session Real Estate TV Show,” a half-hour show, can be seen every Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. on KOFY TV 20.

The “In Session Real Estate TV Show” will have real estate industry information provided by experts.  Recent guest have included Tyrone Cosey of Operation Hope, providing financial literacy training and homeowner down payment assistance, Steve Peterson, Real Estate Broker, and President of the Associated Real Estate Property Brokers sharing information about commercial property ownership and Dawnn Hills with income and mortgage protection information.  Hills’ association with Session Real Estate began with her being a client.

“At the time I bought my first home, I was a young military wife who had the responsibility of purchasing a home while my husband was overseas and Kenny walked me through the process with great integrity,” said Dawnn Hills, an Oakland financial manager and community leader.  “We are friends these many years later because of his integrity, knowledge of the business, and his willingness to go the extra mile,” added Hill.

Session has used his real estate company to educate real estate professionals.  Session Real Estate has helped more than thirty people become Real Estate Brokers and open ten real estate firms.  Some of his previous agents had their lives turned around from drug use and crime, as Session took them off the streets of Oakland and trained them to become law-abiding citizens and professionals.  He put his reputation and business on the line before state-licensing authorities to give people with felony cases an opportunity that would not have been realized otherwise.
