Country Picnic and Festival at Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation Oct. 4

PALM CITY, Fla. - Sept. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- PALM CITY, Fla. -- The Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation (ERAF) and the Palm City Farms Trail Association (PCFTA) invite you to join them for a “Country Picnic and Festival” on Sunday, October 4 from 10 am to 4 pm, rain or shine. The event will be held at the ERAF barn and arena at 6400 SW Martin Highway in Palm City. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

         There will be demonstrations in the arena including dressage, reining, natural horsemanship and even a horse dentist and farrier.   Krystal Washington, age 11, will show off her skills with Riley, an ERAF alumni.  Roz, ERAF’s very own mascot and miniature horse, will be there to greet everyone. Other demonstrations will include Dancing by the Kickin’ It Kountry Dancers and Florida Arts and Dance Company and a Tai Chi demonstration by Pat Lawson.

         Guests will also enjoy browsing the silent auction, raffle items and vendors.  The Martin County Sheriff’s Grill Team will be showing off their cooking talents and serving up burgers and hot dogs and there will also be delicious BBQ, drinks and a bake sale.

         There is plenty of free parking but seating is limited so please bring your blankets and chairs for a good seat.

         Enjoy visiting with the rescued horses and getting to know more about ERAF and PCFTA. The Trail Association is dedicated to creating trails in Martin County that are available for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding.
