Vanak Family Brings Caring Hearts to Southern Alberta

MEDICINE HAT, Alberta - Sept. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada – Michael and Shirley Vanak, along with their three daughters, are looking forward to bringing a new level of in-home care to the Southern Alberta area through their new business, Caring Hearts Canada.

Michael and Shirley are high school sweethearts and they moved around Alberta for Michael’s job. Michael spent 30 years with the Oil and Gas Industry and chose to retire in 2014 rather than relocate again. Shirley brings 12 years of retail and customer service experience to the business – she was a stay-at-home mom for 16 years before that. The Vanaks knew they wanted to open their own business and decided on Caring Hearts largely because of their passion for quality care and the skills and expertise their daughters bring to the company.

“We discussed home care for quite some time. Being retired gave me time to explore the options for our aging parents and it allowed me the time to start thinking about our own future. I discovered Caring Hearts and the connected franchise, Direct Link. Direct Link is part of what excited me because those services, combined with our in-home care, can really give clients and their families their freedom back. We’re looking forward to bringing these services to our community,” Michael said.
