Chicago Training Facility Eliminates 5 Cases of Tommy John Surgery

Go Hardball Training Academy Launches Tommy John Surgery Elimination Program In Chicago Utilizing ARP Wave Technology to Assist Throwing Athletes in Recovering from UCL Tears, Shoulder Pain, and Various Rotator Cuff Injuries.

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. - Sept. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Go Hardball, LLC and founders, Tony Feo and Kate Feo, are pleased to announce that they have implemented a technology which allows for individuals to eliminate pain without the need for invasive techniques such as surgery. The technological project which is under development by the company has already eliminated 5 cases of athletes with UCL damage who were recommended to have Tommy John surgery on their throwing elbow.  Medically, the surgery is called ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction, and traditional rehab can sideline an athlete for up to 12 months or more in some cases.

Tommy Schaedel, a pitcher for Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa spoke highly of the treatment process. “Surgery was a very real possibility,” Schaedel said.  “My coaches were pretty certain that I needed Tommy John Surgery.” Then he discovered Go Hardball. “Immediately after the first treatment I didn’t have pain in my elbow; it felt like I had a new arm. It changed my life.”  Schaedel is a Junior at Coe and a member of the pitching staff.

Go Hardball’s alternative to surgery is a neurological therapy system, known as ARP Wave, which addresses soft-tissue injuries and chronic pain. The ARP Rx100 is a Class 2 medical device employing proprietary technology which is FDA approved. The device uses patented bio-electrical current concurrently with range-of-motion and exercise techniques. The ARP employs direct current and a high frequency patented background waveform.

Athletes undergoing treatment utilizing the ARP Wave system at Go Hardball have reported returning to throwing activities pain-free after just 5 treatments, and back on the field in as little as 2 weeks following an injury to the throwing elbow or shoulder.  Pitchers or position players interested in eliminating throwing pain can visit http://www.gohardball.com for a free injury screening and trial treatment with the ARP Wave at the Chicago area facility.

Go Hardball Training Academy was launched in January, 2007. Originally it operated as a traveling on-location training service with emphasis on baseball instruction and injury prevention. As the roster of private clients grew, the owners recognized the need for a permanent facility which was established in 2010 in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Further growth has added staff members who have led thousands of lessons and training sessions. In early 2014 Go Hardball added ARP Wave technology to their roster of services. “With this proprietary training system, we immediately saw dramatic improvements in our client’s lives; not only those living with pain and injury, but also healthy athletes who were able to achieve remarkable performance gains in very short periods of time,” Kate Feo said.
