October 2015 Events at Six Bends Announced

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Sept. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- There’s fun for everyone at Six Bends this fall as weekly live music and the Green Market Food Fest continue with delicious food, beverages and activities for all ages and interests. October is also customer appreciation month at Six Bends Harley-Davidson® and will include daily giveaways, new VIB member benefits and more.

On Oct. 2, 16 and 30, from 3-8 p.m., the Green Market Food Fest will continue at Six Bends, featuring a variety of local and specialty foods, plants, home goods and more for sale. Jamaican, Greek, and BBQ dishes will be available, as well as ice cream and cupcakes.

On Oct 7-10, Harley-Davidson® riders from the around the state will be at Six Bends for the Annual Florida H.O.G. Rally. Riders who want to participate in the rally must become a H.O.G. member before they can register. For more information visit, www.flstatehogrally.com.

On Oct. 23, 24 and 25, Six Bends will host a celebration for their one year anniversary. Friday Oct. 23 will feature the inaugural “Harley Nights” bike night, which will have entertainment provided by “Lazy Bonez,” an 80’s cover band to kick-off an entire 80’s-themed weekend. There will be $2 domestics, along with food vendors, cigars and more.  Saturday Oct. 24, Six Bends will host a draft beer and blues fest, and on Sunday Oct. 25, Soapy Tuna takes the stage from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

On Oct. 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. come on out and enjoy some Hawg-O-Ween fun. Attendees are encouraged to ride-in on their decorated bike to be entered for a chance to win a Harley-Davidson gift card. There will be a costume contest for employees, customers and furry friends in the showroom at 7:30 p.m. The main attraction will be a dark and twisted maze, with a bar of domestic and crafts, along with a ghoulish surprise. There will be slow races, games and prizes galore. Food and beverage vendors will also be there to enjoy.

For Halloween, the public is also encouraged to post their “Harley-themed” carved pumpkin to the Six Bends Harley-Davidson FaceBook page to be entered to win a special prize.

Sundays at The Pit returns from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday in October on the following dates: Oct. 4, 11, 18, and 25. On Oct. 4, Half Step Down will premier, and on Oct. 11 Bobby James will take the stage. On Oct. 18, Lemongrass will perform an unplugged classic rock show featuring the 50's through present day, and on Oct. 25, Sundays at the Pit will feature a return performance by Soapy Tuna.
