Sept. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- APRIL Assistance, part of the APRIL Group, has announced its launch in the UK, where it is aiming to capture a share of the important travel insurance claims assistance market. Globally, APRIL Assistance (http://www.april.com/group/assistance-services) has 43 offices and 150 exclusive local agents, with the Group now providing assistance services in more than 25 languages worldwide.

The company has extensive experience of delivering cost effective domestic and international claims management solutions across a range of sectors, in particular medical, healthcare, travel insurance (http://www.april.com/group/claims-management) and tourism and cost containment, which is an increasingly important aspect of travel insurance management strategy.

APRIL Assistance delivers its case management services via a network of nine integrated 24/7 contact centres, strategically located in the Americas, Europe and Asia. From these, over 800 staff oversee individual requests for assistance from the clients of a wide range of insurers.

For travel and medical insurers, assistance services offered include air ambulance providers, medical escort services, the full range of hospital services and cost containment partners.

In addition to its logistical expertise, APRIL Assistance is able to offer clients a comprehensive insurance claims cost containment service (http://www.april.com/group/assistance-claims-management-n...). Cost containment is a vital part of the strategy to keep future premiums competitive, with the result that insurers who focus on this area often have a competitive price advantage.
