By: I AM Project for Literacy and Hip-Hop Scholars The I AM Project for Literacy is pleased to announce its anticipated partnership with the Hip Hop Scholars organization as they both embark on expanding their debate programs and outreach to the youth of America. Los Angeles, Ca - September 1st 2015: The Inspiration Amongst Manifestation (I.A.M.) Project is an organization that encourages teens to focus on what's most important before becoming fully functional citizens; discovering who they are! Through creative writing and self-expression our participants are challenged through life coaching, critical thinking, vocabulary improvement and group activities to identify with their strengths, embracing their purpose and building from a platform from a blueprint they learn to establish. The I AM Project promotes multiple literacy programs to teens and young adults, ranging from ages 14 to 19. This partnership will facilitate Hip-Hop Scholars Competitions, in I AM Project classrooms, at Carson California Boys in Girls Club. By merging programs, the I AM Project and Hip Hip Scholars will challenge participants to become better speakers, critical thinkers and group builders. We believe through effective communication and critical thinking, the series of study and debate competitions will encourage academic excellence and eventually increase their ability to make better decision for their future. The I Am Project is dedicated to advocating literacy, entrepreneurship and critical thinking. We use creative writing as a tool to dig for the priceless valuables in their heart. By identifying with their purpose we are able to expose our participants to the unlimited potential they have within themselves to influence culture and promote education around world.
