Costa Rican Delegation to Visit Denver’s Medical Cannabis Industry

JACO, Costa Rica - Sept. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- A group of Costa Rican Senators will be traveling to Denver, Colorado in October to see first hand the results of the Medical Cannabis Industry. Working with The Council on Responsible Cannabis Regulation, they have set up meetings with medical cannabis business owners, as well as city and state officials involved in overseeing the system, for them to meet and ask questions. Costa Rica is considering passage of Medical Marijuana legislation this year.

Allowing Medical Marijuana in Costa Rica will not only help thousands of people on the medical side, it will start a completely new Cannabis Industry in Costa Rica. This will bring thousands of new job opportunities and millions of colons in new tax revenue to Costa Rica,” said TD Morales of the Cannabis Industry Association Costa Rica. “This new industry would be driven by and for Costa Ricans. Costa Rica does not need a huge Multi-National firm to make an investment for new jobs to be created, these jobs will be created from within the new Cannabis Industry. Every state in the US and other countries around the world that have authorized the use of Medical Marijuana has seen explosive growth and the same will happen in Costa Rica.”
