Carol Kent To Headline This Year’s 28th Annual Downriver Prayer Breakfast

SOUTHGATE, Mich. - Sept. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The Downriver Prayer breakfast has many key leaders, industry, labor, business, education, government and religious feel it is essential to allocate time for participation in a non-denominational program of spiritual renewal. This celebr ation gives  an opportunity to support continued moral growth in our community. With the passing of a founding member Harry Lester, last year, the group was not sure they could continue. But after meeting and asking three supporters to be on the executive board. Sandy Mull of the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber, John Zubor of Zubor Buick and James Perry of the Downriver Community Conference. Breakfast organizers include Chairman , Leon Judd, Event Chairman Ceasar Randazzo, Financial Chairman Robert L. Bovitz and assistant Gail Bhatti. Décor is coordinated by Kathy Speirs and speakers by Pastor Billy Walker.

Keynote speaker for the 28th Annual Downriver Community Prayer Breakfast will be Carol Kent She is an award winning author and a gifted speaker. She spoke to the group in 2005 and left several questions unanswered regarding her heartfelt story. She will tell the rest of the story on December 4. Her vibrant personality and relevant messages make her one of the top Christian communicators today. She is regularly featured on a wide variety of radio and television programs.

Carol is hilariously funny, biblically sound, culturally relevant, and has been welcome to many venues including keynoting at Women of Faith, Extraordinary Women, and Women of Joy arena events.  She has been featured with Point of Grace, Sandi Patty, Nicole C. Mullen, Charles Billingsly, Mandisa, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Kathy Troccoli, and Nicole Nordeman.

The event will be held on Dec. 4 at the Southgate Crystal Garden, 16703 Fort St., beginning with breakfast at 7 a.m. and followed by an inspirational program at 7:30 a.m., and ending at 9:30 a.m. The non-denominational program of spiritual renewal will be led by local clergy.

Tickets for the event are $20 each, and can be ordered by sending a check, payable to Downriver Community Prayer Breakfast, to Bob Bovitz, CPA, PC, 1651 Kingsway Court, P.O. Box 445, Trenton, MI 4813-0445.

Sponsorships can be obtained for $600, and include 10 tickets. Sponsors will be listed in the program with a special designation.
