gatherDocs Merges With Colorado Employee Onboarding Company Efficient Hire

PHILADELPHIA - Sept. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- PHILADELPHIA - gatherDocs is excited to announce its recent merger with Efficient Hire, an employee onboarding software company based in Littleton, Colorado. The gatherDocs applicant tracking solution will be a strong front-end addition to the Efficient Hire suite of HR solutions including electronic employee onboarding, WOTC (work opportunity tax credit processing), and ACA compliance and reporting.

“Efficient Hire and gatherDocs primarily sell to organizations with hourly employees, both directly and also through payroll companies,” said Efficient Hire CEO Dave Kenney. “It made perfect sense for us to combine forces, especially at a time when customers are looking to have integrated solutions in the complex human resources software space.” The positive reaction of a mutually beneficial merger is definitely felt from both sides. “After working with various partners, it was obvious that Efficient Hire was not only the best strategic fit, but the best long-term partner moving forward. The merger was a win-win for the organizations and our clients,” said King.

The merging of Efficient Hire and gatherDocs will now allow clients to work with one company to manage the applicant journey through recruiting and onboarding. “We’re looking forward to cross-selling our solutions and having a stronger go-to-market strategy together,” added Efficient Hire VP of sales Todd Fenske.

Currently gatherDocs still has it’s own functional website; however, the recruitment software will soon be operating under the new name Efficient ATS. “After partnering closely with Efficient Hire for a year before the merger, we realized that their rapidly growing customer base and internal support team would allow gatherDocs to reach exponential growth and provide even better customer service,” said Marable.

At the time of the merger, gatherDocs had three team members: Alex King, Co-founder and CEO; Bruce Marable, Co-founder and CMO; and TJ Robleto, senior developer. Marable and Robleto now hold similar roles under Efficient Hire as they did while working with gatherDocs.

Marable still works in gatherDocs’ founding city, Philadelphia, where he continues to participate in and help grow the city’s tech ecosystem. Robleto moved to Colorado, where Efficient Forms is headquartered, and King is no longer with the company and is pursuing a career within the mergers and acquisitions advisory space.
