Telemedicine, offered through InTouch at Home, a member of the Senior Resource Group (SRG) family of companies, provides La Vida Real residents convenient onsite access to board-certified or board eligible UC San Diego Health physicians. Using the latest technology, InTouch at Home’s Telemedicine program at La Vida Real takes a patient’s vitals and relays them to a live physician. The patient then consults face-to-face with the doctor, who provides the appropriate next steps in care—without having to leave the community.

The InTouch at Home Telemedicine program is offered for a monthly fee to all La Vida Real residents who are registered InTouch at Home clients. There is no fee to register with InTouch at Home. Monthly membership for the Telemedicine services includes two monthly scheduled visits, or one monthly emergency visit. Supplemental care is also available at additional costs.

The InTouch at Home Telemedicine program membership also gives residents’ access to MyUCSDChart, an easy and secure way to send messages to physicians, check test results, view prescription history, and make clinic appointments.
