Two Exhibitions at Lockside Art Center opening September 12

LOCKPORT, N.Y. - Sept. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Lockside Art Center announces two exhibitions opening Saturday, September 12, 2‑4pm, and continuing through October 10. The Monochrome Exhibition includes drawings, paintings, photographs, and sculpture by twelve western New York artists. Unique in this exhibit is that the artwork is limited to black, white, and grays and one additional color. The Sculpture Exhibition features several large welded steel sculptures by well-known Grand Island Artist and Art Teacher Mark Tollner.

Lockside Art Center is an intimate art center located in downtown Lockport, NY, overlooking the Erie Canal at the Flight of Five Locks, walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. We provide a display gallery, studios, art research library, and a classroom. The center is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, noon‑4pm, and by appointment.
