MEDFORD, Ore. - Sept. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Like an online satellite entry in a poker tournament, tiny LoopRope® first competed with other entrepreneurs with innovative new products from small-scale inventors around the country in the QVC Sprouts® program.  Their bungee-style fastening device first appeared in online videos, where QVC fans were invited to vote for their favorites. The ones who received the most votes were offered a chance to sell their product on QVC.com and, to a select few, the potential to sell on air during a live QVC broadcast.  LoopRope’s multi-functioning bungee system was voted “Most Wished for” by consumers and earned an appearance in QVC TV in May where it exceeded revenue per minute expectation and sells 1,900 ropes in the first 6 minutes of air time of a three-day booking.

“It’s always great to see what our customer votes for online, and also with their wallet,” said Martin Bispels, Vice-President of Business Development at QVC, said in an interview with Upstart Business Journal.  LoopRope® is scheduled to appear on QVC first quarter of 2016.  QVC has re-ordered 4,225 ropes.  Other ropes also continue to move through QVC.com.

“Although the team has worked hard, it is the intuitive utility of the product – the aha moment of: “I see it, I get the concept, I want the product” that really made this happen,” said LoopRope inventor/CEO Jeff Dahl.

LoopRope® combines the strength of nylon shock cord with the versatility of a loop-based rope and steel S-Clips called LoopClip. Its unlimited uses include lashing down gear, docking sport boats and jet skis, or using it as a clothesline and even as a pet leash.  LoopRope's ingenious design was part of its appeal to QVC, who is always searching for fresh new products that address a real need in everyday life. QVC is the world's top multimedia shopping company in terms of viewers and revenue and ranks among the top online mass merchandise retailers.

Since its inception, LoopRope® has been picked up by multiple retail outlets in the U.S. such as Cabela's, Camping World, LL Bean, The Sportsman's Guide and DuLuth Trading.  Also at Amazon, QVC and in other countries, including Japan, Germany, Australia, the Philippines, South Korea, Canada and The Netherlands.  It’s also sold directly through the LoopRope® website (www.looprope.com), along with its sister product, BuoyRope®, which is designed for use on watercraft.
