FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Sept. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Tickets are on-sale now for Sweet Dreamzzz, Inc.’s largest annual fundraiser, A Night to R.E.M.ember. It will truly be a night to remember at The Dearborn Inn as guests mingle while savoring cocktails and a gourmet sit-down dinner, bid on fabulous items in both the live and silent auctions to help support Sweet Dreamzzz™ sleep education programs, and dance the night away in the Dearborn ballroom. This event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 6-11 p.m.

Sweet Dreamzzz and presenting sponsor, TriMas Corporation, are pleased to announce that Mike Racey, “IronMike,” will be back again to emcee and enthusiastic charity auctioneer, Jim Alban, of Midwest Benefit Auctions, will be driving the crowd to help Sweet Dreamzzz fund sleep education programs for schools on their waiting list. Additionally, the night’s festivities will include the presentation of the Suzy M. Fezzey Award of Excellence to local Eagle Scout, Andrew Campbell.

Live auction items at this year’s event include: an autographed Miguel Cabrera jersery, a Napa Valley Epicurean Adventure, the Air Combat USA Basic Flight Maneuvers program, an organic side of beef from a local farmer, an in-home chef prepared dinner by Chef Trombley of The Henry Ford and Red Wings tickets with dates and times to be determined. There will be three silent auction tables featuring overnight stays at luxury hotels, certificates for delicious restaurants, rounds of golf, outings including boat rides, bowling, outdoor activities and museums, spa and wellness baskets, music/theater tickets and crafty home décor and landscaping packages.

Proceeds from A Night to R.E.M.ember will go on to fund Sweet Dreamzzz sleep education programs including the Early Childhood Sleep Education Program, the Parent Sleep Education Workshop, and the R.E.M. (Rest. Educate. Motivate.) Sleep Education Program. Funds will also go towards purchasing bedtime essentials like sleeping bags, fleece blankets, Sweet Dreamzzz teddy bears and t-shirts, toothbrushes and toothpaste and reading books for the children the organization serves.
