London Company Arms Lesbians with Panic Alarms and Love

With a 30% rise in homophobic hate crime reported by the Scotland Yard yesterday, a Lesbian Company seeking to protect it's members takes a stand with a clever concept.

WESTMINSTER, U.K. - Sept. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- A London based lesbian company, that helps find love for femme lesbian and bisexual women, has reacted to the recent police figures showing a 30% rise in homophobic hate crime in the City.

Security online is becoming a genuine worry for many people joining dating companies internationally. Now an online dating company, that also runs events, is taking a stand by offering women at their next London speed dating evening panic alarms as well as safety training.

Dating sites such as Ashley Madison have highlighted issues regarding members safety online. Pink Lobster Dating aims to offer women a caring and individualised service that aims to keep women safe from fakes and frauds and criminals.

The organisation runs regular dating events at SHE in the heart of Soho. On discovering about the shocking rise in hate crime the organisation has reacted by adding an important twist to the event this Sunday 13th September. The company are already at the forefront of dating sites by offering all members access to free support and advice from a range of specially selected LGBT experts including the recent addition of Shelley Bridgeman, nationally renowned trans psychotherapist. Plus at all their events they also offer free tips, advice and one to one guidance from a professional.

At the event this Sunday all attendees will now also be given a free rape alarm as well as a talk from the LGBT Metropolitan Police spokesperson, which will offer guidance and safety advice.

Company Director, Juliette Prais stated:

“All the women who attend our events come with such hope and excitement as they are there to meet other femme lesbian and bisexual women for love. The last thing on their mind is “could I be attacked”. Our main focus has always been the safety of our members online and we take various security measures to ensure that all the women are genuine on the site. Why then would we ignore the security of women when we have opportunities such as our events to raise awareness and arm women with safety measures?”.

Co-Director and relationship media personality, Emma Ziff added:

“Considering the breakthroughs for the LGBT community with equal marriage nationally, we would have all hoped for greater acceptance, especially in the capital. Sadly the route of homophobia is still clearly not being tackled appropriately. Primarily our aim as an organisation is to find love for femme women. At the same time we were set up by lesbians for lesbians with a deep rooted understanding of our community and the knowledge that femme lesbians in particular are often misjudged and viewed for the wrong reasons. This is why safety for our members is key.”

Although tickets to this event have nearly sold out, Pink Lobster Dating’s femme lesbian events run regularly.
