FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Sept. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- If you’ve ever thought you would like to learn more about how to develop characters or plot for your next book, the authors at the Writers Resource Center would like to show you how it’s done.  In a series of workshops led by award-winning author Vicki Ward, the group has set out to take writers through a course from the basics to getting published.  The meeting will be held Saturday, September 12 from 10 am to 12 noon at 1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield, room 113.  Admission is free for members; non-members pay a small fee.  Complementary refreshments will be served.  For more information please visit the group’s website at www.wrcnoca.com. You can also sign-up to become a member when you visit the website.

“People have become very excited by what we are offering at our sessions; we’re sure many of them will become published writers if they stick with the lessons we are providing,” says WRC President Janie P. Bess.

Attendees should bring their own supplies or electronic devices and be prepared to participate in discussions and writing exercises.  Homework assignments are given at the end of each workshop.
