SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Sept. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Sally Boyden's new album, 'Keepsake - Chapter 2' is now available exclusively on iTunes. Youngblood', the first single from the album is getting airplay in the Los Angeles area.

This is the next chapter in the ‘Keepsake’ series. The first album, Keepsake Chapter 1’, was released to rave reviews in 2013.

Keepsake Chapter 2’ displays Sally’s gift for melody and lyrical twists. The last two tracks on the new album, ‘You & I’ and ‘Fall From Grace’ were written and recorded for the soundtrack of ‘Batman - The Dark Night’.

A household name in Australia, Sally Boyden was a child prodigy. Plucked from obscurity, she found fame at age seven on the TV show, ‘Young Talent Time'. Sally went on to further stardom with platinum albums and was filling stadiums with her concerts by the time she was 11.

In London, Sally has written and worked with artists including Duran Duran, Fairground Attraction, The Dandy Warhols, Stephen Duffy, Rick Astley, and David Cassidy, who covered ‘Someone', a song Sally wrote when she was 18.

Sally's vocals can be heard on the The Dandy Warhols' album, ‘Welcome to the Monkey House', and the Stephen Duffy/Nick Rhodes project, ‘The Devils'.

In London, Sally and musician/writer Jason Lake created ‘Punktuition’ – a children’s educational and entertainment project, which is a fresh take on punctuation and grammer - hence the name ‘Punktuition’. The catch phrase is “Attitude to everything …Communication is everything”. ‘Punktuition’ includes books, music, and an animated television series, which is in development. Sally moved to New York City to develop the show with her mentor, children’s television legend Christopher Cerf of ‘Sesame Street’ and ‘Between The Lions’ fame. Snippets of ‘Punktuition’ can currently be seen on PBS.

Sally engaged her peers, Duran Duran, Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones producer), Steve Poltz, Billy West and Terri Apple, who have performed voiceovers for ‘Punktuition’.

Music is predominant in ‘Punktuition’ with Sally singing and writing or co-writing all the music and theme tunes for each character.

Sally divides her time between New York City and Los Angeles, where she holds a residency at the Gibson Studio in Beverly Hills. Sally also performs at venues in Hollywood.

Due to the overwhelming response from her fan base in Australia, Sally has released ‘Keepsake - Chapter 1', and ‘Keepsake - Chapter 2' as a two disk collection of her favorite self penned tunes.

Sally is writing her autobiography, which will be published next year. “My journey is unique - every day I am grateful and in wonder of my path,” says Sally.
