SANTA ANA, Calif. - Sept. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Artist and writer, Kobina Wright, has revealed that the first 30 attendees of the upcoming art show, titled, STATIC!, will receive a gift.  The gift, Wright says, will be given with consciousness and in light of Wright’s first U.S. multi-media print and original work exhibition.    The art show will take place on September 19th, 2015 at the Wiley L. Kimbrough Lodge, Prince Hall in Santa Ana from 1-3:30pm.

Wright’s first multi-media exhibition took place in 2012 at the Sangdee Gallery, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  Her exhibit was part of a multi-artist, multi-country traveling exhibit curated through Circus Terminal of the Uncooked Culture, outsider artist collective.  Wright’s work from this multi-national tour has only been partially exhibited in the U.S. at Studio B, in Philadelphia in 2013.

STATIC! was initially inspired by the death and FBI cover-up of Fred Hampton, however, the STATIC! series has broadened, encompassing the issue and fight against, police brutality, rogue government actions and the abuse of authority.
