GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. names Carol McKnight as Senior Project Manager

CINCINNATI - Sept. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Carol McKnight of Harrison, Ohio has been named a Senior Project Manager in the Cincinnati office.

McKnight has 18 years of experience in environmental permitting compliance, wetland delineation and stream assessment, and erosion and sediment control.  She has performed environmental work in 11 states in the Eastern, Southern and Midwestern regions of the United States.

Prior to joining GZA, McKnight was Senior Project Manager/Consultant for numerous natural gas projects, including well pad and pipeline (gathering, midstream, and transmission) projects, both small and large in size.  Additional project experience includes project management and permitting preparation for airport expansions, solid waste landfills, and commercial/industrial projects.  Permitting experience includes Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Section 7(c) Filings and Prior Notice Blanket Certification, Clean Water Act (Section 404/401/401), Rivers and Harbors Act, Endangered Species Act, and state specific environmental permitting.

McKnight’s diverse experience has provided the skills necessary to identify and solve the environmental/permitting issues unique to each project in order to bring the project to a successful completion.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Biology, McKnight earned her Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Miami University.
