Kayce Stevens Hughlett brings a colorful tale of three women to life with her debut novel “Blue"

SEATTLE - Sept. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Summer is ending, but readers can still escape in Kayce Stevens Hughlett’s novel, “Blue”, which will be released by BQB Publishing on September 10, 2015.

About the Book

Ask Hughlett and she’ll be able to tell you exactly when she first started “Blue.” Started as a project for National Novel Writing Month, the non-fiction writer spent the 30 days of November 2012 creating the first draft of her first novel. At the end of the month she had the stories of the three heroines: Monica, Daisy and Izabel, and the circumstances that link the women.

All three women’s lives are changed with a single instance. Monica, living in Seattle, wakes up with the need to start over. Izabel lives on the idyllic Orcas Island and suddenly feels pain and uncertainty during the birth of friend’s child. On another island, Daisy wakes up surrounded by infinite shades of blue. Despite being on separate paths, all three are making their way to a linked truth.
