South Shore Chamber of Commerce to Hold Economic Forecast 7:44 Breakfast

QUINCY, Mass. - Sept. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org) the region’s largest Chamber today will host  a 7:44 Economic Forecast Breakfast on Thursday, September 10th at the Boston Marriott at Quincy, 1000 Marriott Drive, Quincy.

The 7:45 to 9:20 a.m. event will feature guest speaker Michael Goodman, Associate Professor of Public Policy & Executive Director of the Public Policy Center at UMass Dartmouth.

Dr. Goodman has authored or co-authored over two dozen professional publications on a wide range of public policy issues including regional economic development and housing policy as well as demographic and other applied social science research topics. He has supported this research by generating over $4 million in external grant and contract funding from a diverse array of public and private sources.

An economic sociologist, Professor Goodman is a three time past president of the New England Economic Partnership, a nonprofit organization made up of leading regional analysts that produces semi-annual economic forecasts of the economic outlook for each of the six New England states.

Admission to the breakfast is $35 for South Shore Chamber members and affiliates and $55 for non-members.   The event is generously sponsored by Chairman’s Partner Santander.
