Tabletop Gear Unveils “The Caddy” for Tailgaters, Gears Up For Kickstarter Campaign

TAMPA, Fla. - Aug. 31, 2015 - PRLog -- Tabletop Gear unveiled their new “Caddy” products amidst great interest from attendees of Creative Loafing’s Beer Fest last week in Tampa.  “We received a lot of really positive feedback and hundreds of entries to win one of our Tailgate Caddies,” said cofounder David Flores.  The Caddy is a small, hard-surfaced portable table with a carrying handle, recessed drink holders and options to accessorize and expand its functionality.  Unlike most portable tables, the Caddy is made of solid, highly weather-resistant components that can be easily taken apart to carry in a bag.  Once assembled, the Caddy is very easy to move from spot to spot.  “We describe our tables as ‘knock-down’ versus ‘collapsible or retracting’ which makes our products much more sturdy and durable, and frankly more functional as a table-on-the-go” said Flores.  Tabletop Gear will run a 30-day crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.com starting on September 10.

“We love the idea of utilizing Kickstarter as a platform to gauge interest as we ramp up manufacturing,” said cofounder Curt Clause.  “We invented the Caddy because we like to play outdoor games like horseshoes and corn hole and wanted a convenient place to put our drinks, phones, and other personal items while gaming.”  But soon the inventors discovered they liked using their Caddies in other outdoor settings.  “We realized this could be a great companion product for all sorts of outdoor activities.  And it looks great as a full-time patio or poolside table, too,” said Clause.  The founders believe the Caddy will appeal to campers and RV owners, tailgate partiers and season ticket holders, outdoor concertgoers, gardeners, beachgoers, boaters, “soccer Moms” and many other niche markets.
