NAPLES, Fla. - Aug. 31, 2015 - PRLog -- Hodges University’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) is hosting two workshops in September featuring cyber security and risk management. Workshops are $35 each and can be attended on a one-time basis or to obtain a non-credit certificate in Governance, Operations and Management by attending a series of four workshops in the same category.

The “Don’t Be a Cyber Liability” workshop will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10. Attendees will learn simple and valuable steps to protect their nonprofit organization, donors and clients. Leading the lecture is Carrie Kerskie, Director of the Identity Fraud Institute at Hodges University.

The “Risk Management Considerations for Nonprofits” workshop, taking place on Thursday, Sept. 17, is designed for individuals who are involved with organizing fundraising events, as well as business officers. Participants will hear from insurance experts about risks involved with conducting fundraising events.

Both workshops will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Hodges University Naples campus, located at 2655 Northbrooke Drive.
