Laser Printing Equipment Manufacturers Russian Patents on “Business-Inform” Site

MOSCOW, Russian Federation - Aug. 31, 2015 - PRLog -- The issues connected with violation of printing equipment oems IP are becoming more and more urgent on the international market. oems are striving to protect their commercial interests from the aftermarket by actively using lawsuits accusing aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers products of oem-patents violation.

Quite often the court decisions in such lawsuits appear in oems favor and companies supplying aftermarket materials have no other choice but to stop selling products “banned” by the court. In the last few years many aftermarket manufacturers refused to copy oem-developments instead creating their own unique technologies protected by their own patents. As a result in cases of oem-lawsuits in different countries the court scales are now more often tipped in Aftermarket favor.

In Russia cases of oem-lawsuits against aftermarket suppliers are still quite rare (if, for example, we compare their numbers with those in US or Europe). However, the registration of oem-patens in Russia has been considerably sped up lately. That is why the understanding, which oem-patents are already registered in Russia and consequently can be used by oem companies against aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers, is becoming more and more important.

It was published in Business-Inform Review magazine (issue #6, 2015).
