Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala to Speak at IIMB Event on IP for StartUps

BANGALORE, India - Aug. 31, 2015 - PRLog -- Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala, a leading IP expert in India,  will be speaking at the IP for StartUps event being organized by NSRCEL at  IIM, Bangalore. This event is a part of the series of events being organized by NSRCEL, IIMB's incubation centre, aimed at encouraging and bolstering startup and entrepreneurial activity in India. NSRCEL's previous programs were extremely successful and this event is expected to be attended by more than three hundred entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala leads one of the most successful IP firms in the country, BananaIP, which incubated out of NSRCEL in 2005 as Brain League. While he will be delivering the key note address, Mr. Madhavan from PEPS Industries, Mr. Ashish from Linksmart, and Mr. Murthy from Intel will give insights into different dimensions of the value of IP for startups. The entire panel will thereafter be open for questions from the audience.

During his session, Dr. Kalyan will be talking about the role of IP  in creating, stabilizing and growing a StartUp. He will be discussing a few models and best practices every entrepreneur must bear in mind. Other panelists will talk about using IP to grow a manufacturing company, role of IP in licensing and value of IP in positioning for acquisition.
