University of Minnesota Twin Cities signs with Yellowdig

NEW YORK - Aug. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- The Carlson School of Management of the University of Minnesota has selected Yellowdig, the innovative social learning and analytics software platform, to be the enabling platform for developing student knowledge sharing communities. The Institution signed up to the software-as-a-service as part of an on-going comprehensive evaluation process.

Scott Barnette, EVP of Yellowdig, says, “We are grateful for having Carlson School of Management join our prestigious list of customers. It reflects the growing awareness amongst HigherEd institutions that Yellowdig delivers an awesome student engagement and social learning experience as well as an unrivaled institutional knowledge community connectedness.

“Universities are placing an increasingly higher emphasis on FERPA-compliant, higher engagement between Faculty and Students, whether OnCampus or OnLine, for retention and learning outcome purposes.

HigherEd institutions view the Yellowdig platform as a way for them to fundamentally change how students interact and build knowledge amongst themselves, while also allowing instructors to reclaim time spent on unproductive tasks --through the use of auto- grading, grade book integration and most importantly, social network analytics,” Barnette added.
