Director CJ Powers Shares New "Living in the Moment" Blog Post for Actors

Director CJ Powers suggests that actors must live in the moment to create great art.

CHICAGO - Aug. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Director CJ Powers, known for his award winning family friendly work on ABC, CBS, PBS, WGN and throughout syndication, has released a three minute blog video suggesting that actors desiring to create great art must live in the moment.

In the video Powers shares a couple of opportunities that presented itself, while he was living in the moment.

The first example is his new "Lemons of Love" documentary short about the non-profit created by several women in the motorsport industry. The organization provides care packages to children going through chemotherapy and until recently, was solely supported by the racing industry.

The second example features Francine Locke, an actor with a recurring role on ABC's "Nashville." Her 'in the moment' performance during a short film landed her two features and several television shows.

Powers is not only a director, but an avid blog writer and author. His latest book is available on Amazon and Kindle -- Notes from the Napkin: A Director's Cut on Filmmaking.
