HP Protect is the largest annual conference of HP ArcSight users, designed to educate and inform HP’s ArcSight SIEM customers. The second half of the presentation features an end-to-end use case for creating Remedy tickets automatically, in real time, based on Unix vulnerabilities detected by a RedSeal scanner. Experienced engineers and content authors may learn some new tricks from the deep dive, while managers and generalists at mature ArcSight implementations may find this session useful in scoping this cheaper and less resource-intensive alternative to other full-blown automation tools available from emerging vendors.

• “How to track McAfee ePO virus definitions on point-of-sale (POS) terminals and other endpoints.” This session is designed to help companies with a retail presence harness the power of their ArcSight solution to successfully track virus definition file updates on POS terminals.
