Hebert Research and Maple Valley: Working Together to Raise Stormwater Awareness

MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. - Aug. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Here in Washington, pollution caused by stormwater runoff  containing harmful chemicals and debris that gets deposited in lakes and other bodies of water is a huge problem. To gauge awareness of proper techniques in dealing with, and minimizing hazardous runoff, Maple Valley, alongside Bellevue based Hebert Research, has implemented a program which looks at what common misconceptions people might have regarding stormwater runoff, and looking at how to best promote the best management practices.

Hebert Research found that the current satisfaction with the cleanliness of the water in Maple Valley is the highest it’s ever been, and that awareness of stormwater issues, and adoption of good management practices has increased, showing an overall step in the right direction in making Maple Valley a clean and environmentally friendly city.
