Emmy Nominated Shade VFX Names Lisa Maher Executive Producer

Aug. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Bi-coastal visual effects company shade VFX has appointed Lisa Maher, former Business Development Executive, to the position of Executive Producer with primary responsibility for overseeing their Los Angeles based productions.

Maher assumes her new role at a particularly momentous time for her and her colleagues as shade VFX approaches Emmy season having garnered a nomination in the Outstanding Special Effects in a Supporting Role category for Netflix series Daredevil.

Maher joined the shade VFX team in 2013, boasting 20+ years in the film industry, primarily producing visual effects for facilities such as Rhythm & Hues and CIS-Hollywood. She completed production on over 25 feature films before transitioning into Business Development. She worked for Dr. D. Studios and Fuel VFX prior to joining shade.

In her two years as Business Development Executive, Maher’s focus has been on fostering collaborative, trusting relationships with new and existing clients. "Being part of the shade team has been such a rewarding experience,” she shares. “I feel that my move into this new role will only serve to strengthen our already successful relationships.”

Maher emphasizes that her key goals won’t change. “Focusing on the needs of our clients will still be my primary mission. I look forward to collaborating with Bryan, David and our talented crews in both Los Angeles and New York on our many upcoming projects."

The Shade team has lent their expertise to projects such as Daredevil, True Detective, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Intern, Black Sails, Olive Kitteridge, 22 Jump Street, Selma, Behind the Candelabra, and The Wolverine among many others. They are in post-production for a number of projects at this time, including Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, to be released in 2016.
