Nerac to Host Bimonthly XcellR8 Meetings

TOLLAND, Conn. - Aug. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Nerac (http://nerac.com/) is pleased to announce the next XcellR8 meeting which will be held at 8am Thursday, August 27, 2015, at the Nerac headquarters in Tolland , CT.

XcellR8 welcomes Dan Dvoskin, the top place finisher in the 2015 UCONN Innovation Quest (iQ) competition.  Dan will introduce AutoBeacon, the winning “idea”, which involves an electromechanical and multi-sensor laden device that can be installed in vehicles operated by teenage drivers, greatly reducing the probability of accidents induced by distractions of several types.

Dan’s design improves upon the incomplete solutions presently available to both parents and insurers, and addresses the known problems associated with teenage drivers in a manner that provides the parent and teen variable options to mitigate risky behaviors.

XcellR8, established as a networking cell in northeastern Connecticut, was one of four originally created by members of the Connecticut Technology Council executive board, including Nerac CEO, Kevin Bouley. Nerac generously makes space available to support this community of entrepreneurs.
