Hebert Research Given Certificate Of Appreciation

Hebert Research has been the recipient of an award by the Center of Advanced Manufacturing

SEATTLE - Aug. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Hebert Research, headquartered in Bellevue, was given the certificate of appreciation from the Center of Advanced Manufacturing (CAMPS) (http://www.camps-us.com/) . The award was accepted by Jim Hebert, CEO and Founder of Hebert Research, who conducted the research with Stanford University. Hebert commented, “all I did was accept the award and nothing more. The credit goes to our partnership with Stanford, the 17 researchers on the Hebert Research team, the Board of Directors of CAMPS (http://www.camps-us.com/), Tom McLaughlin, and the large and engaged membership base. This is where the attribution belongs.”

The formation of CAMPS was based on Hebert Research and Stanford’s desire for a collaborative membership focused on innovation, improving quality and supply chain efficiencies, new technology such as developing supporting robotics, and a new workforce education with exciting, well-paying careers.

The acceptance and growth of CAMPS has been a result of attracting and selecting those who are deemed the best. Memberships are restricted and are accepted for direct manufacturing and professional firms who can build upon one another. The success of CAMPS has come at a time where many business and industry trade associations struggle to maintain membership and revenue.

CAMPS uses the principles of lean business processes. The staff numbers are small and work far beyond the minimum requirements of their positions. They inspire the members and coordinate the exhausting lists of must do’s to achieve their vision of restoring American Manufacturing. The values of CAMPS embrace helping local manufactures to achieve their needs of challenging, creative employment that is sustainable, enables the best, and avoids exploitation of the environment of human capital.

In December 2014, Hebert has since stepped down as Chairman of the Board. Even though CAMPS grieves the loss of a respected leader, he will still remain as a Founding Board Member. His final words were simply “I seldom have been heralded and only occasionally appreciated…and this is enough.”
