Customized lipstick indie brand launches ready-to-wear shades on Etsy store.

Washington, DC – Makeup Meltdown recently launched a collection of hydrating and luxurious ready-to-wear non-animal tested lipsticks on its Etsy store. Most well known for its custom lipstick creation service, on August 15, 2015, the indie cosmetics brand officially entered the ready-to-wear lipstick market, with its first eight universally flattering cream and matte shades, sold exclusively online.

"Being able to offer custom color lipsticks to clients outside the DC area has always been a business goal of ours,” says founder and mixologist Aleah Rae Dorsey,  “The CC Lippie service makes that possible --- and we couldn't be more excited to offer women everywhere the chance to own a lipstick color they've always dreamed of!"

Also new to the Makeup Meltdown brand (and available exclusively through their Etsy store) is the Custom Color Lipstick service, known as the “CC Lippie”.  After purchasing a “CC Lippie”, customers are able to create the lipstick color of their dreams through a simple and efficient email/mail process.  Currently, available to customers in the US, UK and Canada, Makeup Meltdown’s “CC Lippie” allows the brand to offer its signature custom lipsticks (each customized from hue, to finish to tube) on a more global scale.

Makeup Meltdown has immediate plans to collaborate with well-know regional and national pro-makeup artists for a series of limited edition collections benefiting The Beauty Bus Foundation, for which it is a marketing partner.  The Beauty Bus Foundation is a national non-profit corporation based out of California, committed to “delivering dignity, hope and respite to terminally ill men, women and children and their caregivers through beauty and grooming services and pampering products.” (www.beautybus.org)
