Kalimah Johnson speaks to Claudette Milner about Sasha Center and her work with NFL and NBA rookies

On A matter of Interpretation Kalimah Johnson, executive director and founder of Sasha Center, discusses her reason for founding the organization. After working as a consultant for the Detroit Lions and Detroit Pistons she gives us her thoughts.

DETROIT - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Ms. Kalimah Johnson appeared on the August 23, 2015 show of A Matter of Interpretation hosted by Claudette Milner on WIGNTV Networks. Her story is amazing. She dropped out of school in the 9th grade and received her GED while attending job corps. She was molested by a family member early in life and later sexually assaulted in her teens. She went to college and  her success story began from there. She uses her knowledge as a social worker to run the Sasha Center. She is also an adjunct professor and a consultant for the NBA Detroit Pistons and the NFL Detroit Lions.

When she was asked what she learned from training rookies she had an unexpected answer. I want to prepare you. It is not what we see on television. Her answer comes from 7 years working with the Detroit Lions and three years with the Pistons. This is the seldon talked about side of the NFL and NBA.
