By: Partnering For Performance The series, which is being offered free of charge by the Bank at its 1000 Washington Street, Braintree location, will allow participants to better understand how to re-focus business strategy, learn new methods that lead to sustainability and growth, create marketing strategies to better compete in today’s business climate and discover how to achieve work/life balance. Collins presented a 12 Hour Strategies for Success Business Series at Braintree Cooperative Bank last fall and based on positive feedback, was asked for a return engagement. This fall’s series will be held on alternating Tuesdays from September 8th to November 10th. “Jacquie Collins is remarkable at drawing people out and getting them to think outside the box,” said Jeannette Travaline, Director of Marketing & Community Relations at Braintree Cooperative Bank. “Last fall we invited several of our small business owners to attend the series and they all came away with invaluable information.” Collins, whose experience in development, design, and implementation of business strategies spans more than 20 years, is known for her acumen in the development and installation of business and process improvement programs. She has earned a reputation for being a creative leader in project management, team building, conflict management, customer service, client retention, problem resolution, communication, coaching, and mentoring. Prior to founding Partnering for Performance, she worked in Fleet Financial Group as Director of Quality Management for Fleet Retirement Plan Services, and before that with Putnam Investments. Collins has also owned and operated several small businesses in the retail, service and consulting sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of Iowa, and has taken additional business courses at Northeastern University, The Sloan School of Management, and has completed National Quality Award training attending the Juran Institute. Collins presently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. Other professional memberships include the Association for Quality and Participation, Goal/QPC, Mass Bay Organization Learning Group and the American Management Association.
