Follow on Google News | The Social of Greenwood Announces New Executive DirectorSarah will bring leadership and creativity to the TSOG programs and a deep sense of commitment to our seniors in the community. She has served nonprofits at all program, fundraising, executive and leadership levels, and has a breadth of perspective and experience. Sarah has a BA in Art History from Indiana University and an MA in Museum Studies from Syracuse University. Her previous employment included a position as Curator of the Cultural World Collections at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis and most recently, Director of the Johnson County Museum of History. At the Johnson County Museum, Sarah honed her non-profit management skills in fund raising, budgeting, event planning, programming, education and staff and volunteer management. Sarah was also active on the Board of Discover Downtown Franklin and served on their Promotions Committee. Sarah grew up in Hobart, IN which is in Northwest Indiana. She is part of a close-knit family who taught her the value of service to others. She now resides in Franklin with her husband Scott and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for family and friends. The Social of Greenwood is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a major hub where a growing number of individuals 50 and beyond participate in a vast array of educational opportunities, activities, and services designed to enhance their quality of life.
