Sterlite Copper inaugurates Community Hall & Meditation Hall at at Millerpuram Vinayagar Temple

THOOTHUKKUDI, India - Aug. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Sterlite Copper, a unit of Vedanta Limited inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Community Hall and Meditation Hall’ at Sakthi Sundara Vinayagar Temple, Millerpuram on 20.08.2015.

As a part of community welfare initiatives of Sterlite Copper, the community hall and meditation hall has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 Lakh.

Mr Pankaj Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, Sterlite Copper, formally opened the buildings in the presence of Peruinkulam Senkol Aathinam, followed by Special Annadhanam (offering of free food) for the devotees and public visiting the temple.

Sterlite Copper Officials Mr D Dhanavel, Head Commercial, Mr Ajay Jajoo, General Manager - Finance, Mr R Selvasankar, General Manager - Projects, Dr R Kailasam, Chief Medical Officer & Head Corporate Social Responsibility and Mr Pradeep Nair, Head Engineering Services graced the occasion.

The temple program committee President Mr Anna Malaisamy, Secretary Mr Shanmuganathan, and Treasurer Mr Sankaran were present during the occasion.
