Texila American University hosted a meeting with the Suriname Ambassador of Guyana

GEORGETOWN, Guyana - Aug. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- City, State, India., August 18, 2015 - (PressReleasePoint) - Texila American University (TAU) had hosted a meeting with the Suriname Ambassador of Guyana on Tuesday, 4th August, 2015.

The representatives of TAU – Director of Operations, Mr. Sreebalakumar and the Regional Manager of Marketing, Mr. Karthic Raghupathy of Texila American University (TAU) met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname, Her Excellency Mehroen Nisa Kurban-Baboe to discuss the introduction of their programmes to Suriname.

TAU provides career-oriented educational programmes at the Diploma, Bachelor, Masters/Postgraduate and Doctoral levels through a wide network worldwide.  These programmes include: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Dentistry (DDS), Bachelors in Nursing (BSN & RN-BSN) and Premedical Foundation Programme (BS).  The process is completely online from admission to the final examination utilizing the Learning Management System which helps in synchronous and asynchronous delivery of programmes.

The University currently has 500 students from 35+ different countries studying at the Guyana campuses and offers clinical rotations for its medical students in the United States of America (USA), Philippines and Guyana.  TAU currently has two campuses in Guyana: 1) Chritchlow Campus located on Woolford Avenue and 2) Goedverwagting Campus located on the East Coast of Demerara. Construction for a new state of the art campus is currently in progress and is expected to be completed by March 2016.

As part of the introduction, TAU will be offering scholarships to three (3) Suriname students who excel at their FREE English Entrance Examination. Successful candidates will benefit from the following:
