Care at Hand appoints new Chief Nursing and Quality Officer

BOSTON - Aug. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Lori O'Connor, RN has joined the Care at Hand team as the Chief Nursing and Quality Officer after spending 8 years as the Director of Nursing at Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, an Area Agency on Aging in Massachusetts.  Four of those years, she worked specifically with the Community Care Transition Program (CCTP) in which she became intimately familiar with Care at Hand.  Lori ran one of the largest CCTP programs and pushed the agency into becoming one of the top national programs in the country. Lori sits on the Advisory Board for University of Massachusetts Lowell Nursing school and was recently appointed to the Standards and Practice Committee for the American Nursing Association in the state of Massachusetts.

Lori also served on the CMS National Faculty Team for 2 years coaching and mentoring other national CCTP sites to reach their goals as well as educate and assist with quality improvement.  Her strong leadership and quality improvement skills are valuable in assisting Care at Hand customers to reach their goals and produce marketable and measurable outcomes to improve programs and obtain new lines of business revenue.
