Beauty In/Beauty Out Awards 2015 - 3rd Annual BIBO Awards returns to the City of Lights

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Created by Social Entrepreneur Traci S. Campbell, the goal of the BIBO Awards is to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of amazing women in communities around the country. The event will showcase a host of celebrity presenters several exceptional honorees receiving awards and recognition for their hard work and inspiration.

After its first stop in Los Angeles, California, the third annual BIBO Awards Show will return for a second tour of Sin City. BIBO Founder Traci S. Campbell is thrilled to bring BIBO back to the Las Vegas area and to the fabulous Dal Toro Ristorante in the Palazzo Casino (http://www.daltoro.com/las-vegas/ (http://daltoro.com/las-vegas/)). The Las Vegas Awards Show will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 5:30pm PT. The 2015 BIBO Las Vegas Award Show will be hosted once again by Councilman Ricki Barlow, who will be joined this year by News 8 Now Anchor Demetria Obilor. Award presenters for BIBO Las Vegas 2015 include: BIBO Alumnae Cheryl Truesdale and Dayna Roselli, Racecar driver Matt Jaskol, Author Dr. Donald Arnette, Sherwood Herndon of WuTang Management, Entertainment reporter Denise Pernula and CNN’s Joe Sutton.

A sneak peak at some of the amazing honorees of the Reflection Award trophy include: Entrepreneurs Calanit Atia and Beli Andaluz; Marlene Richter, Executive Director of the Shade Tree Shelter for women and children; Lavetta Schneider, Mrs. Nevada 2014; Christy Steven of Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas; Dr. DaliahWachs, physician and host of the “Dr. Daliah Radio Show”; Holistic practitioner Dr. Sandiee Peters; District 8 State Senator Patricia Farley; AIDS Activist Hydeia Broadbent, and former Nevada US Representative Shelley Berkley. This year’s BIBO Starlet Award will be given to Erica Korbel, a Bishop Gorman HS student, who has positively affected her community by heading a school supply recycling effort for homeless teens in her area.

BIBO, which stands for ‘Beauty In / Beauty Out’ is presented by the C.H.A.M.P. Community Project, a 501(c)(3) organization, which provides self-development and self-empowerment educational programs focused on the emotional and mental well-being of adults as well as teens who are living in single-parent environments. Both organizations were founded by Social Entrepreneur Traci S. Campbell, who is an author, life coach, and radio host. The goal of the awards show is “to change the negative and oftentimes unrealistic images of women in mainstream media today. We promote real beauty, education, and real role models for the next generation by spotlighting community SUPERWOMEN.” A portion of ticket sales will benefit the C.H.A.M.P. Community Project.
