Ricko AK Releases New Music Visuals From Elevn

ATLANTA - Aug. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- At the beginning of the summer, AK debuted his biggest project to date; mixtape album Elevn; now he is back with visuals.  Ricko AK released the official music video for the single “Lately”.  Lately has proved itself to be one of the most monumental songs off the iconic mixtape album.

The song begins “What’s happening, what’s the deal? The streets want real spill. Is this thang on?  I’m reporting live from the field. Lately been chasing two mill, better yet make that three.”  AK paints a picturesque description to his hustle and grind out here as an artist.

“Lately” was produced by Crank Lucas.  The video was directed by Casino365.   The music video presents raw and candid behind-the-scenes footage of tour life with Ricko AK.  “Lately”  follows the preceded music release and video to interlude “AK Season” which was also directed by Casino365.  Both songs and visuals embody the transparent and intimate journey that Ricko AK takes his audience on with Elevn.

When asked about the concept of the songs and visuals for “Lately” and ‘AK Season” Ricko AK states,
“I literally freestyled "AK Season" before I had the beat and started working on Elevn.  Once I heard the beat, I knew I had something special and organic. Basically what I am saying is, it’s my time to shine because of all the hard work that I have put into music and the struggle I’ve had to endure and overcome throughout my music career. On "Lately", I just wanted to tell the streets what I’ve been up to lately, and give them that "AK flow". I was on tour in New York and Philly when we made the videos; we wanted to capture moments within that experience.”
