Dream-Vacation in Orlando, Florida Becomes a Living Nightmare

ORLANDO, Fla. - Aug. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- On 06/25/15  I booked a vacation home for my family on 06/25/15, I paid for 2 weeks from 7/09/15 through 07/24/2015 for a 6 bedroom 6.5 bath rental property from George Gomez of Resort World Florida: the total cost George quoted was $ 3,766.00.

George Gomez stated that he was only going to charge my Visa Credit Card for half ($1,850.00) the amount and that he would call me before charging the balance on my card right before we were to arrive at the property in Florida. Furthermore he stated that he would send me my confirmation which both stories were a fabrication.

On 06/25/15 George charged my credit card $1,850.00 (RESORT WORLD OF FLORID 786-732-7930 FL <REFERENCE 24136005HLDXXXXXX>) and four days later 06/29/15 06/29/15 he  charged the balance of $1,916.00 RESORT WORLD OF FLORID 786-732-7930 FL <REFERENCE 24136005MLDXXXXXX>

I literally made dozens of calls to get an email receipt for my payment.... From 6/25/15 I made numerous attempts to calls George trying to get an email confirmation and receipt for this payment however, he kept promising I would have it by tomorrow every single time and finally, he stated that the girl that worked for him was going to send it out. So on 07/09 we drove over 42 hours from Arizona to Orlando, Florida and prior to arriving in Orlando and through-out our trip, I called George a couple dozen times but he would never give me a confirmation or receipt of received funds nor an address of the property but instead, kept making up excuses. Then he promised that we would receive the confirmation upon our arrival on Friday 07/09/2015.  On the morning of 7/09/2015 we arrived in Orlando and George wouldn't answer my calls and his voice mail was full. We had to pull over at a restaurant since we had 2 infant babies, 2 mentally challenged clients and 4 children along with 4 adults and the family was exhausted.

About 3 hours of riding around Orlando, George finally answered his phone and stated that he does not have any place for me and my family to stay at this moment but give him some time to work on it . We had to pull aside in a car park and try to manage the children and clients.

Finally, George answered my call and stated that the rental was occupied by the owners' family at the last minute and that there was nothing he could do but that he was going to look for something else for us and he would call us back shortly.

At 7:00 am Sunday  Morning, George Gomez called and said that: maybe we would have to leave the premises because the owner he rented the property to another family. Three hours later George called back and stated that we had to leave the `premises immediately and that if we didn’t, we would have some serious problems so again he tried to place us a temporary location for one day until he could locate us another final rental place but I said we will we are not moving two more times and we will stay here until the final rental was available but, he insisted that we had to move. Later that night George called and stated that he cleared it with the management company but that we would most definitely had to be out on 07/20/2015 before 10:00 that Tuesday Morning for sure and we agreed as long as he had an address, door code, gate code etc, we would cooperate. That Tuesday morning came and George was up to his same old tricks again, wanted us to move without having a place to go.

07/20/2015 at 9:00 am there was a knock at the door. My daughter and I asked.... who is it? The response was: Deputy Sheriffs Open up... com’on out! When we opened the door we were greeted rudely by deputy sheriffs and the property management from Champion Gate as though we were squatters at this property. They told us that we were not supposed to be here and we had a half hour to vacate the premises… Be out and by 9:30 they wanted us off of their property. Things began to get heated as we tried to explain that we had been over charged…. We Had been unauthorized charges in access of nearly 6K and being bounced around like a yo-yo but they didn’t want to hear it.

After a confrontation with the Sheriffs and the property management group that reprimanded us for not moving fast enough and we explained that we would be packing up now but they were busy talking to us which didn’t allow us the opportunity to leave. Called George and he said just get out of there and he would find us something.  He promised that he would return my funds to my credit card for my inconvenience but instead, he made an addition unauthorized charge to my card.

Lets stop George Gomez and put himout of Business so that he doesn't continue to Scam people out of their hard earned money and dream vacation!
