BEDFORD, Pa. - Aug. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Colonial Courtyard at Bedford senior living community maintained a summer tradition by holding a picnic for its team members on August 13 at Snake Spring Community Park in Everett.

Approximately 50 Colonial Courtyard at Bedford team members and their families attended the event, which included traditional picnic fare as well as games and family-oriented activities.

"Events such as our summer family picnic serve multiple purposes," said Nanette Bankes, Activities Coordinator at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford. "First, it is a great time with great food and great entertainment. Second, it provides the team at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford an opporunity to enjoy themselves and bond outside of the traditional work environment. It was a huge hit."

The team participated in a number of games and activities including a picnic.

Colonial Courtyard at Bedford team members returned to the community with plenty of stories to share with residents and family members.
