Security Solutions appoints Ray Barnett as commercial manager

BOLTON, U.K. - Aug. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Ray, 53, was previously Operations Manager at ATG Access Limited. He has a MBA from Lancaster University’s Business School and extensive experience in general management, sales and marketing management, and supply chain management, from various roles in perimeter security in the UK, the USA and the Middle East.

Commenting on his appointment, Ray says: “I am hoping to bring here my 16 years’ experience as part of a successful management team to help  Security Solutions achieve its next planned stage of growth.”

Security Solutions (Northern) Limited manufactures, supplies and installs its own perimeter security products as well as supplying and installing other manufacturers’ products to customers (end users, contractors and the trade) across the UK and Ireland in sectors such as construction, transport, car parking, banking, manufacturing, ports, distribution, education, and facilities management.

It is currently installing 96 turnstiles at the Olympic Park in London on behalf of main contractors Balfour Beatty.

The company’s products include automatic rising arm barriers, high security and crash rated road blockers, automatic rising bollards, indoor range turnstiles, stadiapod turnstiles, steel cantilever sliding gates, and access control systems including stadia counts.

Security Solutions also has a servicing department for call outs, repairs, upgrades and service contracts for its own products and other manufacturers’ products.

The company is based in Bolton, Lancashire, but works across the whole of the UK and Ireland.

Ray is married with two children and lives in Worsley, near Manchester.
