This Empowered Women Panel is a great opportunity to hear first-hand the stories of immigrant women, and show your support for diversity and the immigrant community. The New Americans Expo, is open to the public from noon-6PM, and is an informative, community affair dedicated to immigrants who are adjusting to the culture and systems in this country. Panelists include: Sahar Khamis, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Communication, University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Dr. Khamis, Moderator moderator and panelist Joy Mbajah, Founder & Owner, Public Health Ventures in Washington, DC; EWI graduate.
