By: Aparecio Foundation Phone: 312-320-5536 Email: christine.nitahara@ Aparecio Foundation to Explore Space CHICAGO - (JULY 27, 2015) - The Aparecio Foundation is inviting Chicago to explore space in “Space Camp: Journey to the Moon” at Lagunitas Brewery on August 24, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event features themed food, appetizers, live music from local bands, and a silent auction featuring items from Hasana. All proceeds go to the foundation’s 2016 science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.) initiative. The 2016 S.T.E.M. initiative focuses on mechanical and electrical engineering, industrial design, and 3D printing. The topics will be presented with hands on and online problem solving activities. At the end of the initiative, the girls will have created a fashion smart bangle. Attendees can purchase tickets before August 8 to receive an early bird cost of $75 for general admission and $100 for V.I.P. From August 9 to 24, tickets can be purchased at $90 for general admission and $115 for V.I.P.
