International Pop Star Jahna Sebastian Graces the August Cover Issue of First Fit

NEW YORK - Aug. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- First Fit is getting up close and personal — literally — with international pop star singer/songwriter and producer Jahna Sebastian! The brunette beauty is featured on the August cover issue of First Fit and she discusses all things music and fitness. She even shares a horrific experience where she was chased by neo nazi skin heads. In this exclusive no holds bar interview she shares her trials and tribulations and what helped her become the woman she is today.

Ms. Sebastian has been hard at work recording music, performing at spot dates, gracing the red carpet at celebrity functions and industry mixers. Ms. Sebastian's interview will be available in print and online later this month.

Can you give our readers an insight into who Jahna Sebastian is, and your journey to where you are now?
I am a singer, songwriter, producer, actress, model and entrepreneur. My father is South Indian and my mother is Russian. I was born and raised in Moscow and then I moved to London. I have been doing music all my life, started performing as a child with an orchestra, singing from around the age of two.

Does fitness play a role in inspiring to create good music?
Yes, it’s a big deal for me when it comes to being inspired to make music. In fact, many ideas for songs or videos come to me in the gym. Most of the time while I’m running and  exercising I just have a flood of ideas for music, visuals, stage costumes, setups, it’s just so refreshing. Fitness helps me boost my energy, confidence, enhances my work flow on a daily basis.

Do you have a favorite musical project that you've worked on?
Touring with British rock band Kasabian and performing on BBC The One Show, MTV, Alan Carr show on Channel 4 and Glastonbury Festival 2014 on Pyramid stage in front of a hundred thousand people was absolutely fantastic. Working on my EP ‘The Edge of Love’ was a very thrilling experience, as I have come into a new phase of my music career and filmed four music videos with amazing director Kevin Hudson for that. Around the time of the release I started working with my publicist Kathy Liautaud who is promoting my music in US.

Is there an artist you want to work with that you have not yet had the opportunity to work with?
I would love to work with Prince, Madonna, Rihanna, Drake and The Weekend.

About Jahna Sebastian
Jahna Sebastian who was classically trained on piano and earned her degree in “Music Business” at the age of 20 at the prestigious Russian Academy of Music is a multifaceted power house of talent. She has an astonishing track record of hundreds of songs including recording entire album by Oxxxymiron “Vechniy Jid” which had been rated Best Rap Album of 2011 in Russia and nominated for Russian Urban Music Awards.

Last summer she performed several shows with multi platinum UK band Kasabian, one of them was on MTV on Soundchain with Zane Lowe, on the main stage Pyramid at Glastonbury Festival, which has been broadcast on BBC and millions tuned in for, another being the historic show at Victoria Park in Leicester called "Summer Solstice" with 50,000 people attending.  The show was filmed and screened at cinemas and will be released on DVD soon. She also performed with Kasabian at the Alan Carr show.  The sultry songstress also had the pleasure of headlining the Baltic Summer Festival.
