“First Mind Presents...” Launches Web Series with an Episode About the Terror of a First Kiss

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- “First Mind Presents...” debuted their inaugural exhibition, “The End of The Date”, over the weekend after much anticipation. This episode is a brief, comedic glimpse into the life of a girl, who thinks she has become pregnant after her play date and seeks guidance from a busy God.

The episode stars Kiana Rene’ (“Breaking Pointe”; “Days of Our Lives”), Kelly Perine (“One on One”; “Let’s Stay Together”), and Edwin ‘EdVanzd’ Morrow (“The Parkers”; “ER”). Written by comedian Debi Fraser, the short was directed by award-winning, short film producer/actor, Marston Fobbs (“Childrens’ Hospital”; “Bones”), and executive produced by Maria T. D’Alessandro. The screenplay was inspired by sketch work Fraser had done while training at the famed improvisational acting school, SECOND CITY: LOS ANGELES.

FIRST MIND MANAGEMENT, LLC partnered with Perine and Fobbs, in creating the web series workshop, "First Mind Presents”, in 2014 and were happy to find talent to participate. “One of the first things that we agreed upon is we didn’t want to follow a linear story line throughout the season,” states Fobbs when asked the direction the pilot’s female lead may take in upcoming episodes. “We wanted more creative freedom,” added D’Alessandro, “…so we made each show its own stand-alone short with their unique characters. You will see familiar actors playing different roles in upcoming installments.”

D’Alessandro is a graduate of Pitzer College, of The Claremont Colleges, and currently works in the legal and business affairs department of a mini-major film studio responsible for the production of Academy Award-winning feature films. She founded First Mind Management, LLC in 2014 and continues to develop her own slate of episodes when she is not pushing paper.
