Call for Outstanding Peacemaker Nominations

DRCWM’s Second Annual Celebration of International Conflict Resolution Day will recognize local peacemakers
 
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Aug. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Aug. 11, 2015 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan (DRCWM) will recognize outstanding local peacemakers at its Second Annual Celebration of International Conflict Resolution Day on Thursday, October 15 from 7-9 pm at THE BOB-EVE, 20 Monroe Ave. NW in Grand Rapids. The event’s theme is Give Peace a Chance, and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite ’60s attire.

Nominations are being solicited from the West Michigan public. Do you know an individual or organization from the nonprofit, business, education, neighborhood, or court sectors who displays qualities like these?

- Promotes Relationship Building

- Provides Creative Solutions to Conflict

- Facilitates Productive Communication

- Aids in Resolving Problems

- Works to Reduce/Minimize Conflicts

- Empowers Peacemaking through Teaching/Education

- Advocates for Alternative Solutions to Programs
